Sunfoot/Sun Foot was introduced into the world by 3 artists (Chris Johanson, Brian Mumford and Ron Burns) as a means of communicating their particular form of “quiet music” to the public at large. With this particular edition they have approached the recording process in ways that they had not before with other releases of their sounds. They have gotten into improv-soundscaping-poetry-feeling-sessioning as they put it. Sometimes soft, sometimes agitated, always radiant, the sound experiments consider magnetic tape as the medium and provide a sun damaged quality if you will. This edition continues a long relationship between the artists and Aventures LTD. Press as the cover image is drawing from a collaboration to promote the curation of a series of performances and an exhibition of works on paper between AVLTDs Robert Lowe and Chris Johanson respectively. The cassette is released with a risograph print and sticker.

Portland Los Angeles 3 piece who play low volume tunes through small amps and a drum set that consists of a hand drum, cymbal, pan lids, and electronic drum pad, all three singing, playing random cheap electronic keyboards maybe, and switching of instruments probably.
